I happen to notice a trend in romance mangas I read lately.
So this guy gets rejected by the girl/made known she has no interest in him and he basically ignores this and tries to keep pushing himself on her (grabbing her hand in public, asking her out on dates, constantly reminding her of his feelings for her, etc etc though I’ve seen some in more forceful and obvious ways as well.) I can’t help but think about her feelings on the matter? Like wouldn’t she feel uncomfortable that her friend is grabbing her and touching her and basically trying to pretend he’s her boyfriend. Wouldn’t she like her boundaries respected? Wouldn’t she like him to back off and let her chase her own romance?
Even though he knows she’s not interested further friendship. And he knows she likes another person. But.. he ignores it and thinks nagging is the way through her heart. And the manga artist…. just makes it out to be like a cute romance.
Like.. why is this a trend. And.. do people really think ignoring a rejection will get you anywhere???
I think this is kinda reflective of a lot of people I see these days. »
“While you were surprised when you started at how good it felt to actually work on something you were passionate about, lately you’ve found it hard to muster the energy to really care about even this.”
No thanks Chrome, that spanish looks pretty readable to me.
I saw these in a local furniture store a while ago and I keep thinking back to it. I should go back and buy them, one day. And spray pair them blue. Shelves for the living room or something.
I sat there for ten good minutes staring at this until it hit me, it didn’t say James Potter. I was about to say..
With the new copy of Alice: Madness Returns I got for Christmas, I received a code to redeem a free copy of American MeGee’s Alice and have been trying to download it from psn for the past two days. But in mid download I keep getting an error.
